SGE highlights the need to address inequities in education outcomes, particularly for girls facing gender-specific barriers. Menstruation is one such barrier preventing girls from accessing education opportunities. SGE’s Fahari ya Msichana program aims to ensure that menstruating girls do not miss out on learning due to lack of menstrual products and knowledge. Join us in creating a brighter future for girls and women in Tanzania.

Amina talking about her second chance
Amina was a bright young girl from a poor family. Despite the odds stacked against her, she was determined to succeed. She spent countless hours studying, even after a long day of helping her mother with household chores. When the exam results were announced, Amina’s heart was pounding with anticipation. She had studied hard, but would it be enough? As she scanned the list of names, her heart skipped a beat when she saw hers. She had passed with flying colors! Amina couldn’t believe it – all her hard work had paid off. She felt a sense of pride and joy that she knew would stay with her forever.
